Welcome to the second installment of our government transparency report, where we explain in (hopefully not boring) detail the government requests we receive for account information, and how we respond to those requests.
How many requests? From January to June 2014, we provided information—either user data or blog content—for 84% of the requests made, covering 199 blog URLs. This represents approximately 0.00010% of all blogs on Tumblr. Not a huge number, but this is about full disclosure, no matter what the scale.
Also in this report: some emerging trends in the data, and some information about our improved user notice policy. Plus: a few additional gems to keep you fully educated about when the government is requesting your information, and what we’re doing to defend your rights.
We take the privacy of your information seriously, as you know, and we’ll be auditing ourselves twice a year from here on out. Look for our next report in early 2015.

Hey guys so i’ve seen other people try this and thought i would try it. I was suppose to switch schools this year but my mom changed her mind and now i cant, and now the only way her and Joe will let me switch for sophomore year is if this gets 30,000 notes. I got bullied so much last year that i went back in the closet and i’ve talked to the principal of the school my mom is making me go to and he cant to anything about bullying because of “religious freedom”. I went on a tour of the school I want to go to and met who my classmates would be and i feel completely safe there, while at the school my mom wants me to go to I dont feel safe and my anxiety is worse. So maybe we can get enough notes on this for me to transfer?

Reblog this, alright?

Forget the spreadsheet, here’s an easy flowchart to know if a women owes you sex

Microsoft Excel took a turn for the explicit this week when the Internet learned the once-innocuous office tool was being used in a dispiriting new bro-trend: using the software to track of the number of times their partners refuse sex. Yes, #sexspreadsheets are a thing, presumably because some men still believe that owning of a penis entitles them to unlimited sexy times.
Sorry, guys, that’s just not the way the world works | Follow micdotcom

Casually realising that Lestrade met Sherlock when he was 25-ish and would probably have called him ‘lad’ or ‘kid’ back then.

Casually realising me might still slip and call Sherlock ‘lad’ or ‘kid’ to this day…

This pleases me.

Sherlock pouts like a petulant child when Lestrade does this. And Lestrade just ruffles Sherlock’s hair to !@#$%^&* him off even more.

never forget that australias first ever winter olympics gold was won because the guy was coming dead last and everyone in front of him fell over

its happening

even better
the only reason he was in the final was bc the same thing happened in the semis
and the only reason he was in the semis was bc one of the guys that came ahead of him in the quarters was disqualified

i’m not sure if he’s the luckiest skater alive or a skater that has the power to curse other competitors.

i’ve been laughing non stop for the past like 10 minutes
